My 356 replica is about done and I look forward to participating in the group. Not sure I can make the SLO trip this year, but maybe next year. I would like to catch something closer to home in N. California if there is anything that comes up. Thanks

The Tour d' Hoe will be coming up in September. Meet in Auburn Friday morning, caravan to Lake Tahoe, hang out, drive around the lake on Saturday, hang out, eat, drink, and head home Sunday.
Let's get some MADNESS and address those plain jane wheels! And pictures of interior/dash.
Thanks for the info on the Tahoe event I will plan on making that. I feel like I already have the madness! I'm working on the wheels and I'm not ready for interior shots just yet. There should be more to come this week. I look forward to finally driving it.
Rick, Looks great and also looks like you are making a hard cover. Big question is, what is the story behind the silver car in your profile pic?
Stephen
Yes the rear cover is aluminum. I will post more pics when it's done. The silver car is a JPS Coupe that I couldn't pass up on even though I had the red Speedster. Once they are both running and driving I will decide on the car to keep and sell off the other. As much as I would like to keep them both I can't afford it.

Don't let that coupe get "stuck in Lodi again"....grab some $$$ now and sell me the coupe... have cash, trailer and will travel.
And if David backs out - I'll take it ! !
I'm digging on the 'outlaw' look of your car, Rick!
Pics of the seats please.
Red brake hubs with silver wheels.

Somebody take away Tebys key... Board.
Hey Rick,
Definitely the chrome, although if you painted the wheels argent silver that might look better still!
Chris
Thank you for the responses. Looks like the black is out for sure. I will work on what the replacements will be. I like the chrome, but I have a few other ideas as well. Keep you posted.

...and 2 beers before that...
Now that's the ticket! (the wheels not the beers!)
Looking good, Chris!
You'll be catching everybody's eye on the road with that bad boy!
I'd just get it vinyl wrapped in a brushed aluminium look! In FL I could quick fry eggs on the tonneau -- maybe meemaw's biscuits too.
Looks good Rick!
Are you going to Tour D Hoe with the gang? I was hoping I would be able to make it but my plans changed and I'll be in in Seattle instead...without the speedster, DARN!!

Clean aggro Speedster Rick. Nice coupe also... Oh, the decisions...
Come on, you can afford both. A his and hers!
No Chris I don't think I can make the Tour? I will be at Bugorama though. How about you? @sherco_chris
Thanks for the compliments Max. I wish I could keep them both. @MaxMartens
I'm not understanding you Will? @Will Hesch
I hear that everyday...
