Just made deposit on a VS Speedster

Well, I bit the Bullet! It'll be red with tan interior. I'm supplying the Engine, Trans, and wheels. Basically a "roller" is what I'm buying. I took the tranny down to Kirk today. He says two weeks, to delivery. This will be an IRS floor pan out of a 69 Ghia  which he has already and a body ready to paint any color so it will be Miata Red. On the way home from Vintage today I passed a Harley ("soft tail" I think) all decked out with tons of chrome and great paint. i thought to myself that he is enjoying his ride a lot and so will I when my little "tub" is finished ! Maybe in a little more comfort than the guy on the Harley on a long trip but the point is.....The absolute ,kick butt, great time we both will have doing it. The maddness is sweet !.....Aircooled

The difference between you and the Harley rider is that you won't need to wear silly leather pants, you can't fall off of a Speedster and there is NO HELMET REQUIRED!!!
