CMC speedster particially assembled . Body was properly block sanded prepped with epoxy primer, painted GM Saturn brilliant red urethane and buffed out. The windshield is installed and the dash vinyl is also installed, the hood and deck lids are on the speedster, driver's door needs minor adjustment along the rocker. The body is bolted to the shortened IRS chassis with all new installed brake components, lines, master cylinder and transmission. The beam is also in good condition, the ball joint rubbers have minor cracks.
The 1905cc hyd. stroker engine built by Bernie Bergman with 041 ported heads, Dellorto carbs, balanced stroker crank, has zero miles and is completely chromed out. VS new style new exhaust set up.
Comes with new 165 tires and stock 4.5 x15 chrome wheels that are mounted and balanced.
New from Vintage Speedsters is the Stayfast black top, header bow, metal bows. Reproduction 356 three piece gauges and sender units and VS wire harness '67 steering column, engine grill, bumpers, brackets, deco's, column, Stayfast boot cover, Stayfast side curtains, mirrors, scripts, grab handle, new fuel tank. new black VS seats, door panels, door top rails. Some of the work was done some years ago by the previous owner.
All the buyer needs is a Nardi? steering wheel, carpet, mirror set and a few misc items to complete the assembly....comes with the VW title.... pics to be posted over the weekend. $11,000 firm Alan M.
