Having a blast. This is a JPS Speedster in '57 aquamarine blue. I tried to arrive at something as close to 1957 production line spec as possible with very few noticeable differences and/or modifications. Of course a larger engine (2166cc), disc brakes, but I stuck to no radio. I drove it up the coast to Malibu this morning for coffee. Lots of smiles and thumbs up. Plenty of power and runs great. Very happy indeed. Enjoy!

Congrats, Peter! Beautiful color!
Peter, that is a sweet color combo! Car looks great (old school) with the painted wheels, nice touch!
Hopefully you'll be able to join us on one of our upcoming cruises. I'm picking up my car next week and hopefully we'll set up a shake-down cruise on Tuna Canyon and Mulholland!
Keep you eye on the 'Events' thread! Welcome to the Madness!
You've got one of the nicest I've seen.
nice ride, good luck.
Wow, that color combination is magnificent!!
That is my new favorite Speedster color. Gorgeous!
Would like to join you and Musbjim for some canyon carving.
I am getting my JPS speedster back today after some minor tweaking.
Cannot wait to drive it again!!!!!!!!
Wonderful use of colors, ie the wheels are in the same tone as the body, but a different shade, just enough to match and pop!
Nice contrast Peter. Do you known the color of that carpet?
Bold colors. Nicely done.
Love the color combo! That is the exact Kardex combo of my Speedster (Aquamarine (5707)/Red/Oatmeal)... One of my all time favorites!
It's funny how these color combos come in "trends" too. I am finishing one of our Speedsters in this combo for a client, just took an order for a Spyder in this combo last week, and Daniel at SM had some coupe pics with this combo recently...
Carey, because it's just one of those "right" combos. Looking good!
Hey Carey, put a note in my file that if I get another car from you it will be in that color combo. I love it!
Love the colors as well. It looks very well done. Nice seat covers and door panels.
Thank you all for the kind comments. What a pleasure to be part of this cool community. I would be delighted to join rides with fellow Speedster owners any time.
The color of the carpet is tan German weave. Also, there are a few details that will complete the look including chrome on the dash.
Stay tuned for more photos.

Any time, let me know.
Take off the bumpers and hub caps and make sure you push it hard. It is a race car if you let it be...
Beautiful car...
