I’m not a big fan of fake Fuchs (or real ones either, tbh) but especially shiny ones.
If it were me, the first thing I’d do is get them blasted and try body-colored accents,*

and if that looked hideous, do standard matte-black.

Titanium makes a good center color with red, too. IMO

* I couldn’t find a pic on the internet of Fuchs with red body-colored accents, but here’s my 911SC with them. If I’d have kept it, I was going to have them blasted and repainted leaving the alloy part with the brushed/blasted finish.

Two suggestions: If your a photoshop pro, you can try out the look on your computer. If not, you can take a brush and some red Plastidip, and paint them up. I’d you don’t like it, it peels right off.

This is the best example I could find on the internet. Notice how you can see daylight in the wheel wells? DGA.

Either would look good. I wanted to clear coat my Alfa wheels, but the painter told me  clear will yellow over bare metal, so I had them painted magnesium.

Not true, original speedsters have large horns that obscure grills, but they are often missing or replaced allowing daylight to be seen through the grills same as replicas. See pic of original speedster above to see my point.

I checked out a real deal a couple of weekends ago to see what it was that obscured the daylight and on this particular Speedster, it actually had some brake vent ducting, like a Spyder. But it was obviously an aftermarket deal.

How about the hand brake on the tall rounded center tunnel?

yup , dead giveaway. i feel this is a dead point there's numerous things on a replica im sure everyone has talked about LOL . diff not going to follow the rules if there are any on this little fiberglass shell. It's all about having in your vehicle in what ever you drive and enjoying the journey       

Looks killer now; I wouldn't change the wheels. Maybe refinish and take out all that chrome. Maybe leave some?

@WOLFGANG you are correct sir!..that's the big giveaway!...the umbrella handle e-brake under the dash tells all !..... another "tell"  on REAL DEAL SHELBY COBRAS just check the pedals....if they hang from the firewall?  REPLICA.....slots in the floor forward pressed pedals?   $MILLION$ DOLLAR one of 1200ish made REAL DEAL   just some car FYI
