I have had my IM for about a year. Went to Carlisle in 2010 without a car. Couldnt make it this year with my car. Would love to have some type of meet and cruise or something out here in New England. I know a couple of guys locally ( Pickering in my town and Gordon Nichols one town over ) Any of you NE guys interested in doing some type of New England cruise or meet up. I know we have some guys on Cape Cod and some on the north shore. Just seems like waiting for Carlisle again is too long to wait to cruise with some other Speedster Owners. These West Coast Guys have all the fun.....

I am in central MA in Shrewsbury. Any interest from anyone? Thanks Chris

Peter (and Chris):

Len Cannizzaro of the TYP 356 club just bought a used Vintage to go with his 912 coupe. I went to Connecticut with him to pick it up a couple of weeks back, so he should have it on the road soon. He lives in Burlington, but there must be 6 - 8 TYP356 members who now own replicas, too, and I agree - a great bunch of people.

I'll let you know of any shows coming up in Central Mass. There's something at Hebert's Candy Mansion soon, but I'll get more info and report back.

In the meantime, you can look here:

(Chris: Cruisin Bruce is on mornings on 100.1 fm)

or here:

I've been hyper-busy lately and haven't even had time to get a front end alignment on Pearl so she's not leaving the garage until that gets done. Hope to get some time next week and after that.....Watch out! Maybe I could even do a Cruise/Pool Party here later in the Summer if things get a little less crazy - might need the diversion by then, too!

Also, Cruzin Dreams Car Club has their annual car show on July 17'th at Hebert's

Plus.....A bunch of TYP356 folks are going to a cruise night at Hemmings Motor News in Bennington, VT. If you need a place to stay, I highly recommend the South Shire Inn in Bennington.

PLUS, PLUS, Don't forget cruise night at the 5 & Diner on Lincoln Street in Worcester

Or Tuesday evenings at the Jukebox Diner on Rt 6 in Somerset (I've been there - great food, too!)

You know........you dig a little on the Internet and you'll find all kinds of things to go to.

Thanks guys. I just am looking for a way for some of us that own speedsters to meet. If anyone else is interested, let me know. Maybe we could meet somewhere and have a cruise or lunch or coffee. Just a reason to get out and cruise with some other Speedster Owners... Thanks Again. Gordon, I am aware of the local shows. I am actually going to Auburn Elks club tonight if you are up and running and want to go... They do it every Thursday night. Bigger and Better than Heberts Candy Mansion I hear.
There are some really nice back roads on both the Bay side or the ocean side of Cape Cod. The bad part is there are way too many people and clueless drivers here until after Labor Day. Until then , all my rides are early morning and then off the road by 9:00 AM or so. Just a fact of life around here.

Maybe we could put something together around here in September if we have any intrest. All of the houses around me will be vacant and we can break in and use them. (kidding of course, I have keys)

Hey ,Gordon and Kathy,
I'll bet we can make that work! We have some good connections with lobster, shellfish, other seafood and a few restaurants. We will start paying attention to some routes and do a little preliminary stuff just in case it happens. Al and Bobbi might be talked into a trip as well. Hope things are well with y'all and bring the pups if you come.
