Kafer bar with heat exchangers | 356 Speedster, 550 Spyder, Replica, Automotive Community

Has anyone successfully put a chassis stiffening kafer bar on with stock heat exchangers? I put a Mendeola stiffener on and there is NO WAY the rear brace, the most important one will fit with the heater boxes. I really want my heater to work but also feel I need the stiffener for the chassis. Any ideas?

i'm running the bugpack one in a T4, but i am pretty sure it would work with a T1 heaterbox. i remember thinking there was a fair amount of room around the diagonal pieces.

I have the Fast Fab unit that is similar to the Bugpack one but uses 1" tubes instead of 3/4".

The heater lever on the driver side required a bit of adjustment.

I may go to a Fast Fab, too........Been backordered on the Bug Pack at Aircooled for three weeks.

It would be nice if their web site actually provided stock status when ordering.
