We made it to a gas station with a fair amount to spare in her tank. It was a two-car car show all over again, as the night owls of Southeast came out of the woodwork to look at the Bug. That was a real change of pace for me

Cory you're too young to recall the early days of Roller Derby.
Back then they would beat the tar out of each other and they would often exit the track over the rail at a very high rate of speed :~)
