Today Kathy and I took a day off from making products, shipping products and ordering materials.

We took Whitecloud out 41 to La Panza Road to 58 to Shell Creek to see the wildflowers. We were a week or two early but some early bloomers (no pun intended) were out and it gave me an excuse to drive Highway 58, one of the best roads in California.

Then we took 58 to Pozo Road and out to Santa Margarita Lake, one of the lakes I guided on for many years. It's been low and un-launchable for the last two years, but it's plugged full now and the perfect backdrop for a nice picnic lunch.

Tomorrow Whiteclouds going to the doctor to have her front swaybar put back up and out of the way. Then she'll spend (I'm told, but skeptical) a week at The Paint Saint to have her new front hood fitted, installed and painted.

For the poor, every day brings trouble, but for the happy heart, each day is a continual feast!

Al, it's still a beautiful day (3:40 pm), about 80 degrees outside, not a cloud in the sky and we're heading to our grandson's baseball game, he's catching tonight! He stole home twice last game and they won, 13-11.

I reversed the position of the swaybar which was (at static load) against the VS bumper mounts. My brilliant idea keeps it away from the mounts but much too close to the ground! The bar, when re-installed, will sit against the mounts but when activated, move away from the mounts so I created a mountain out of a mole-hill, my special talent.

I will weigh the old and new hoods and let you know the weight of each.
