It's not the first time Kelly's had his car out in the rain. I'm just poking fun at him.

He had shown up in order to help us move boxes for the big cross-town move, but the movers were super-fast and had been done with the whole job for an hour or so.

While we were surveying the garage full of leftovers in preparation for a moving sale, Kelly broke out a cooler, pulled out a couple barley-pops from it and we shot the breeze for a little while. And then it started to rain. From nowhere. A lot.

Both of our cars were sitting on the curb, about 100 feet away. Kelly's interior was merrily soaking up August raindrops by the time we thought to do something about it, and there was so much water bouncing off the paint that his ride began to take on a silvery hue.

He did have about 400 coats of wax on it, though. If that Maguire's guy had been around, Kelly would've gotten a medal for most water drops not ACTUALLY touching the paint.

By my watch, it took about 45 seconds for Kelly to leave the garage, dash down the driveway and throw up the "emergency top." It was amazing.

Just as suddenly, the rain stopped. Funny.
