Bagged . . .

'Cause you all just KNOW that I'm planning on running through every damned one of these rags and charting out the number of times a fuckin' cobra appears in the editorial, advertising, photo spreads and cover imagery; coincide that with other kits then factor in the number of pages in the magazine.

Do the math and I'll have a TRULY accurate charting in not long at all.

My 'Ol Man once told me, never trust the word of the guy who's sellin' the shit . . . ain't gonna start now. The rest of you can do whatever you want, just don't give a crap anymore.
Just got my latest issue of KCB, great article on Cory. Also there's a small picture of our 2009 Carlisle group with a caption on the 2010 Carlisle group. If it takes an article or two about Cobras to keep KCB rolling so be it. I, for one, never thought KCB was a magazine devoted to Porsche replicas but a mag that featured all sorts of kits and replicas available. I even had my 550 pictured in Perry Desihns ads for a couple of years.

On another note, ever notice when viewed upside down, the Viper badge looks like Daffy Duck?

Now don't go gettin' all excited and ever'thang......

The inimitable "TC" lives in a world of images (well....ok....he really lives mostly in a single room in an old Dutch Colonial in a VERY old New England town full of very old money). Nothing wrong with that, but to do this big comparo he's suggesting requires that he move somewhat into the world of data collection and analysis - where I once lived and something he doesn't have the patience for. Not to say that he isn't a patient guy in his own way, but not for the tedium of data collection..................

I bet he'll cave after a couple of nights of grazing and then send them all on to the next guy (after declaring, of course, that there are LOTS more Cobra articles in there than anything else!)

I'm jus' sayin'.......

The probable truth is that Gordon's correct, 'cept I won't even bother mentioning the abundance of cobra references. As I mentioned earlier regarding cobras kits, the rest of you can do whatever you want, I just don't give a crap anymore.

Now that I have a Ford GT40 replica body and a good lead on a mid-mounted, Caddy engine, tube chassis for it, I'm all about checkin' out the super car and GT kit's fit and finish. Hopefully, if I can slog through enough shitty cobras, I'll find some. I've been promised that there are quite a few varied and different kit cars represented in the rag, I'm hoping that it's true.
I had a '64 289 in my youth.......CSX 2377........they were worth about $6800. at the time.....early 70's........darn that is the one I shoulda kept!!! Or at least one of them.

It slammed you back in the seat in every gear. Scary fast !!! I got a ticket once when the police just heard me shifting through the gears, he didn't even see me. My girlfriend at the time, would get out of the car with the seat of her pants soaked every time we went for a drive. If you catch my drift.......
