I started going through the registry of cars on the SpeedsterOwners forum and sorted them by distance to where I live and found quite a few. I know that most of those guys have not posted on this site in a while, if not forever. What do you guys think about the idea of e-mailing a few of them and reminding them of the upcoming show? I live only 25 miles from Knott's so it's not like they would have to travel any distance. But then, maybe we could do a mass e-mailing reminding the members from all over the country. They might just want to tag along in tandem with a crew already en route. I wasn't a member (or a Speedster-owner last year) so I don't know if this was ever considered. Just a thought.......

Steven,

Get on the web site for the meet, Speedsters West or RR #2, link on the home page here. It will lead you to the AHA forms to sign up for the Chicken dinner. Might be a good idea to get that rascal early rather than the day of the show because it looked like it was a sellout last year. I think a few people were able to get the chicken ticket that day, but wouldn't take the chance.

Be good to meet you, carless or not. Should be a great time again.

Bruce
It's getting close! E-mail inbox below:

"This is to confirm receipt of your registration for our 26th Annual Fun Under the Sun Show at Knott's Berry Farm April 23rd and 24th."

Speedster Johnny: I think Rick Davis will be proud to pass the distance award to you. What you are doing is the ultimate trip and is the stuff most of us dream about. If time permits I think the Route 66 trip though NW AZ is well worth the extra half day. I haven't posted them because of PG content, but I have a disc full of interesting pictures of Harley riders (backseaters) enroute to Bike Week on old Route 66 all the way to the river (April 2004). Plan on extra shots!
