Knotts 2005 Three Days or Two

Guys,

I went to the Knotts sign up page and there it says the show is two days, Sat. and Sun, the 23rd and 24th. I was just wondering, was it not three days last year? Friday, Saturday and Sunday?

It seems that people are flying in and staying Thursday night expecting the show to start on Friday and go through the weekend. Am I missing something? Just wanted to make sure everyone knows that it looks like Saturday and Sunday only. Anyone who can clarify please do.

Oz, as I remember last year, I think Friday was setup, bring em in and park em for most clubs,mfg, etc. And the actual show began Saturday.

Friday is the "car wash and detail day". Always a bunch of us hangin' around and the BS gets rather deep but that is what makes Friday a fun day. This is at the Marriott, right down the street from Knotts. If you locals want to just bench race, Friday is usually a good day for those activities. A beer has been known to popped open also. Dinner on Friday night is also a bit of excitement in LA-LA land. Guess that is why we call it a three day show. The Knotts portion of it is, as you say, Saturday and Sunday, with the Chicke dinner on Saturday night in the amusement park, that's pretty good too and lots of fun!

I'm so excited that I'm almost ready to pee in my pants. Unfortunately, there isn't any snow here to make it worthwhile. So, I guess that's a good thing and a bad thing. Sweet bride was born in Nashville, so she's always up for fried chicken. Me too!

I see that, between now and Knott's, a box of "Depends" might be in your future.

So what is the process for the chicken dinner. Prepay or pay sometime Saturday?

Go to the Knotts site and click on the AHA portion of it, you'll see the downloadable forms. You can pay for both the show and the chicken dinner with one check,($53), make sure you indicate that on the "chicken" form!
