This is a terriffic show. I had a great time last year and dont think I stopped smiling for a minute. I also got a terriffic porsche red sunburn too. I met Theron there and several others from this site and hope to meet more this weekend. I know that John Leader will be there with his VERY BEAUTIFUL JPS (sehr schone) John Steele will be there with JPS. My wife and I are driving down with my black Intermeccanica on Thursday and hope to see some of you there. Henry of Intermeccanica is borrowing a Roadster for the show and he will also have one of his real cool Kubelwagens there. Come out and enjoy the show. I am thinking there will be at least 75 Cobras there too, if that is your bent.
Dick, Just started a new job at Genentech and will have to try and get a day off. When is it this year. That is a great two day driving event on some of the sweetest roads in Northern California. Being surrounded by 15 or so loud Cobras is fun too. Post some info when you get it. Sorry you are not making it to Knott's.
Great show at Knotts this year. John Steele had five Speedsters on display and won the Manufacturer's award with a beautiful Silver Flared SC. Henry Reisner was there with four IM cars, including Dale Bate's beautiful Black Speedster which won the Private Owner award. Great to see Dale & Michelle again.
Also met Theron and his wife and lots of other folks interested in all the great-looking cars and their proud owners and builders.
Forgive me if my photos are slightly Speedster-oriented. There were hundreds of cars there - many Spyders, tons of Cobras and many others. My camera just seems to point at Speedsters.
