Howdy, All.

13 days left to book your rooms for Knotts. As of this morning there were 7 Friday & Saturday accommodations left!

Shirts and hats will be in shortly and as time is getting close, we will be bringing them with to the event (if you really want one in advance, contact Mike M via e-mail and we can make quick shipping arrangements). We'll post pictures to the info. site as soon as they arrive, but they will bear the license plate logo currently on the site.

In final negotiations with parts/accessories vendors (Mid America Motorworks, Griot's Garage, NLA, Ltd.) to sponsor our club in the event with give-aways, goodie baskets and door prizes - more on that soon.

We will have our raffle again this year, so if you have any Speedie or Spydie paraphernalia, bring it along, or you can ship it to Mike M if you're coming from long distance.

We will be giving out (yes, we mean free) static-cling window stickers with the SOC clubs logo(s) to all attendees. The preliminary artwork in currently posted on the info. site, however, we will be going with one-color (red) to avoid astronomical production costs. If everyone likes the designs, thanklessly crafted by our own Theron and Kevin Murphy, we can consider grill badges at a point in the future??

Trophies will be done a little differently this year. For those of you confident you will bring home one of the top SOC prizes (Best 550, Best 356, Best Overall), don't bother clearing a space on your mantel. Instead, you might want to make room in you coat closet(s) - more info. to come.

Lastly, let's hear from all those 'inked for the trip and we'll post your names on the info. site.

Thank you all for your patience during the planning. We'll look forward to seeing you all in a little more than a month.

Hey, Dave. Look forward to seeing you in April.

Mike, I'll send you some raffle items. Also, if we could have a free drawing on Saturday afternoon (late), I am kicking in for for 24 iced down bottles of Shiner Bock. Two per drawing. The Beer is coming down I-5 courtesy of Bruce Williams and Angela & Steve Lane... so I would like to open that drawing to Spyder & Speedster owners.

To all going to Knotts,

Drop a mail here if you are planning on attending the Knotts meet in April. That will help Mike in his planning and let us all see who is going to be there, you know to formulate those great questions. Not many of you SoCal guys and gals are showing up on the current list. We had 50 Speedsters and Spyders last year. Only 23 so far, lets hear from you!

Bruce, "The Eagle Point, OR guy".... sorry Gary
Hey, Troy.

We are planning an "informal" Q&A session with Henry and John (Steele) early Sunday morning. I'm told Kirk may not be attending - Theron, let me know if you know different.

I am not acquainted with the principals from Thunder Ranch, Beck or Specialty Autoworks. If those who own these vehicles think their builders might want to take part in the session, please have them give me a shout.

You know how volunteer work, works Michael... You are now in charge of:
1.Sifting through the forum registry and validating those that announced their attendance.
2.Designing and manufacturing a name tag, preferably a pin-back or magnetic catch style which can be re-used. Name, S.O.C. and a small, simple image.
3.Getting them to the show site.

Thanks for your idea and your help.
Oh, and maybe some of your famous hub-cap art, upon reflection...hmmmmm?
