Not Yet....,do you need two? If I don't sell it soon I'll just take it to Knotts, and offer it for $200 or $300 dollars . Not really, but I thought that would get the Kmart shoppers salivating !

Vince, the Spooner shirt is an incredible donation to the drawing. I am bringing a couple of Speedster type Ts, but nothing like the Spooner. I hope all of us remember to bring something to toss into the raffle.

As long as the Speedster folks are OK w/spyder folks bringing stuff for the raffle, I'd like to throw in a local gift basket and a bottle of Crown Royal.

I'll throw in some So. Oregon goodies too, how about some dried road kill. No, not really, I'll get some of our produce to toss in and maybe a bottle of vino from here. See Troon Winery in the Applegate won some big tasting contest in SoCal for their Zinfandel. Opps, heard that was selling for about $30 a bottle.

I saw that article in the paper about the wine award. PRetty cool! I'll give you a call, the middle of the week should be good for getting together as my schedule slows down. I liked the idea of a local goods gift basket as a drawing. Let's entice more people to the fall cruise! Last year was WAY fun!

For those unable to attend Knotts this year, if you would like to get a few (camera-phone) pictures e-mailed to you from the event, post me your preferred e-mail address, or e-mail me off-line, and I will send out a batch Saturday night and Sunday after the awards.

I am definitely planning on being there but have not registered yet because escrow on a place we are buying is scheduled to close that same weekend (bummer) about 125 miles away. But, I am keeping my fingers crossed that we can sign the papers early. If so, then I will just register the day of the event.

Get a mobile notary to bring the escrow papers to you AT KNOTTS.
It is only about $100 and your Realtor should be happy to pay the freight on that, I would.

Hey Vince I seen you car at Vintage on 3-22-05. MAN it is looking AMAZING! If that car had the white wall tires on it, I think it could take first place at knotts for Speedsters class.
I know you don't really care about that crap but man your car is looking good.
Kirk is taking the old motor out of my car this week to start some of my up grades. I just hope it's done soon. I want to drive.

Hey...great idea about the mobile notary! Count me in for sure. I wasn't planning on missing out on all the Knott's Speedster action and meeting all of you guys after waiting a whole year anyway. The Realtors are taking a back seat!

David, when I took MR356 to Kirk there was another Ivory one there with Wide Whites....could be in my future, but not for Knotts.....
perhaps for The Hotel Del run......Whats the date again....
I have a silkscreen shop down the street, maybe I will sachet over and see what he charges for small order of shirts for 2nd annual....
I was going to put wide whites on the Ghia, but I sold it instead...

Well, I'll be there sort of. I've been looking forward to Knotts for months, unfortunately I've got a committment to the Seal Beach car show on Saturday. I just realized it's the same weekend, but I'll be there on Sunday.

I had as chance to chat briefly with Kurt Larson and he is sitting on the proverbial fence. He needs encouraging. It is obvious we will have some cars displaying pedigree this year, we need more cars with 'tude...Kurt's qualifies hands down! C'mon dude, tell 'em at work you need to oversee me taking a loan app in SoCal!

I heard that there will be about 30 Speedsters at the Seal Beach CA show. Furthermore about 4000 people will atend the event this year.
Kirk Duncan will have some of his cars there. He is not sure if he will be at Knott's this year.

This is a call to all attendees!

Please post a shot of yourself and your car to your photos folder. We will be using this shot for SOC name badges. They will be stickers so you won't ruin those brand new event T-shirts (I'll post pictures this week, I promise!).

Those who show up without having posted a picture will get a sticker featuring Jim W. and Jodie from last year.

In talking with kirk before last years show, he said he never got any business from the Knotts show in past years, so he opts for the other show, (apparently Seal Beach) which does get him some business.
Are you thinking of going to the Seal Beach show, let me know....
