Hi
I have just bought a part completed Pilgrim Speedster and although it comes with an electronic manual most of it lacks photos so most of it is useless.

I'm struggling with a few things so if anyone has a manual (electronic?) from another replica kit that they could send to me I would really appreciate it.

I understand most kits are pretty much the same give or take....

I am also missing a few parts from the kit - like headlight brackets, seals and probably a million other things. Ever wonder of you've taken something and thought 'oh what have i done'....

So for boot, door and bonnet seals, what profiles are best?
Also what are people doing for demisting? I get the bit about running pipes from the exhaust outlets but does this also need a fan? Is there an easier way to manage this?

I'm in UK so any suppliers of steel chrome wheels would be great too.

Thanks
Paul

Ah fab thanks I will have a looksie.

Pilgrim have been through a few changes and are currently concentrating on the Sumo (Cobra) to rebuild the brand and gain strength. Chatted to Den - the owner and although very helpful its still nice to have something in front of you isn't it!

Another q to add to the list.....what internal door handles are people using?

thanks
Paul
Paul, make sure to use the "search" function, and check the "newbie" section for some questions.

I'm also on the building/planning stages, and those two things on top are making it much easier.

BTW, let me know if you find a cheap supplier for wide-5 wheels with porsche "D" slots... ;)
CMC headlight bracket is a piece of galvanized duct metal bent to form a lip to hold the top of the headlight. It's pop riveted in with 2 rivets. I want to remove and reposition mine out a bit to allow for a gasket around the headlight (which was not part of CMC build plan). CMC manual give dimentions on gasket material which can be obtained from local hardware/building supply store or check automobile universal fit gaskets at online place like J.C. Whitney.

CMC has massive internal steel frame with provision for heat/demist - works fine with OEM heater boxes but a fan would speed up flow. Many VW bug owners incorporate inline boat bilge blower fans.
