I just wanted to post a fun picture of my car at Laguna Seca a few weeks ago.

Very cool. Any time on the track is always fun!
It looks like you accepted Hagerty's offer of track days. Please let us know how that turned out, pro's and con's. Would you do it again?
Looks like fun- and your car looks good too!
Looks awesome !!

@Jim Kelly I was about to say the same. Pro and cons would be nice. Almost made it there myself 👍
👍
It was a great event. Super cheap. To compare: my local PCA holds the same event at Laguna seca and it is $600 for the day. They had a professional photographer that took some amazing photos. There were only a handful of classic cars. It would be awesome if a bunch of speedster folks could make it next time. My car stole the show. People were swarming around it like ants.
I would say you need at least a 2110 to keep up the pace.
Cost?
$75 for half day.
Speed limit? Or more like HPDE?
There is no speed limit. It was a hpde event for those who did not have track experience. Experienced drivers ran in their own group and could pass They had a bunch of instructors and everyone got at least one in car session.

@curtissb did the instructor drive with you in the car to instruct you how to drive your car in the course? That would been nice if it did. I should have gone.
Yes. There was a follow session, an in car session and an open session. Very helpful
NICE! That is a bargain. Over here in the east at LRP HPDE with the PCA is 300-350 for a day. It is usually four 20-30 minute sessions. They usually have 4 run groups or so.
That is truly dirt cheap. Hmmm... I wonder if they'll do such an event on this side of the continent.
@Lane Anderson that’s good question. It run by invite from Hagerty.
$75 is a good meal and drinks at a restaurant. Apparently your friend doesn't get out much.....and by the appearance of things, no arm restraints needed? Or were they?
I have 5-point harnesses. I think 3 point seatbelts were okay that day.
Go to Hagerty.com. Under “lifestyle” they have events.
