At the cove in LaJolla, all you So. Cal. cruisers, come on down....

Saturday is the road ralley meeting in Balboa park, at the auto museum, leaving that location around 8:30 various stops around town....probably to late to enter actual ralley, but not to tag along...
Sunday the concours, in the cove...over 250 cars.....
I'll be judging as usual....
DANG! I totally missed this on my calendar so I have schedule conflict. It will be awesome weather this weekend, I'm sure you & Teri will have a good time as usual!
I CANT MAKE IT
Never new about this event. Its on my calendar for next year.
Bluespeedster - it s a very cool gig, plus its in La Jolla which makes it that much more fun! Vince is one of the Concours Judges and too much fun! Keep an eye on the 'Events' thread for upcoming SOC cruises!
YEP HE IS GIVING A THUMBS UP TO THAT MIATA
"YEP HE IS GIVING A THUMBS UP TO THAT MIATA"
Thank goodness that's the only thing that is up.
I am sorry I ever got in that Miata for a photo op.........
Here are some pics from my weekend in LaJolla
some from the motor tour on Saturday then on to the concours on Sunday...
Keith Martin (what's my car worth) was the MC and Ed Gilbertson (chief judge Pebble Beach) are in a pic from the stage along with my chief judge...both very cool guys to talk to.

What is the car in picture #124? I love that car!
...and I think we all have had enough of the the two photos above. I will be very careful around you people - especially the ones taking pictures!
Some spectacular cars there Vince, and your gorgeous T-bird is right at home among them. I think '57 is my favorite year.
Rusty, did not judge that class. but I believe car in pic 124 is an Alpha Romeo..
Perhaps there is an Alpha guy out there that can verify this...
Thanks for the kind words Lane. My bird is a driver quality, what they call a "20 footer" but it runs out great and looks pretty good too.....new custom red canvas top was expensive so I left it up for everyone to see...selling the tub afforded me the funds to buy the new top along with other hobby toys....like restoring my bumper car and the latest addition to my stable in the form of the "Edelbrock Harley".
I do miss the tub, but I can always do another one, although if I do, it would be a flared coupe, with beehives of course...
Vince likes beehives.
The picture of car #124 could be an Allard, however the Clover Leaf on the fender is one of the marks of Alfa Romeo.
