Notice to new attendees: The only spectator parking available is on village streets - first come, first serve - there ain't no parking lot. Parking is generally available, but you may have to walk up to half a mile, depending on when you arrive. By mid-day there may be nuthin' available. Walkin' ain't bad cause it's along the shoreline of the ocean.

This is a really good show - Concours actually. Get there early and watch the classics drive in while watching the local body surfers swim the waves. The setting is almost Pebble Beach. Some of the entries would be contenders.

Most viewable of all is Vince in a white shirt and tie. When was the last time you saw him like that? No bathrobes allowed here! All free to view.
Jim,

La Jolla is full of car parking, just have to walk a little. Don't not drive your Speedster just because of that.

Plenty of street parking just troll around a little, Mark will feel right at home just like Seal Beach. Typical beach parking.
I would guess parking about 2-3 city blocks away max and there are so many pricey cars around anyway your ride should be safe, think about the top down driving. Oh yeah I will be there, in the Speedy too.

You're only whining because (a.) you probably haven't joined an active club and (b.) if you want to go out for milk from your place you have to drive 45 minutes one-way. ANYPLACE here in the South is at least 2-hours one-way.

The Charleston Mustang club (Kevin Felty) is doing something this weekend, so are the Carolina Dreamers and the Low-Rider/Lead Sled guys from Savannah. Check out Hemmings' Calendar for South Carolina. There is LOTS going on in the cooler months, because the weather is so nice (not oppressively HOT!)

Good Hunting......Oh! And the Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona is Jan 23-25, and Amelia Island is coming up in April. Check the calendar on Speedstershop.

If you get desperate, Peter and I can come up for BBQ at Sticky Fingers. Maybe we'll bring Dr. Ralph along with his 1950 "Fabulous Hudson Hornet" (instead of his Pearl White Plymouth) - maybe come up with a few others, too.

Or we can meet in the middle at Harold's Country Club in Yemassee http://www.flickr.com/photos/mustangrolling/325389293/
or some place out towards Edisto. Let us know if you want to do Harold's, because you have to call ahead to order your steak (and how it's done).

The (busy) Speedstah Guys from Beaufort

And now back to the LaJolla Motorcar classic thread.......
This coastline will be the backdrop at the La Jolla Concourse. In fact, I think this is part of the greenbelt where they'll be staging the show. Weather forecast calls for clear skies & 70 degree temps. Did I already mention the babes on parade?

Vince - what time will they start rolling the cars onto the show area? Kinda like to be there when they do (photo ops).

What an unforgettable day! A classic SoCal Santa Ana January day, a cruise down the PCH in the Bus, a breakfast at a classic La Jolla greasy spoon, Vince in a straw boater and tie, classic cars, and we even got to work on Mark's car! Priceless. Thanks to Vince for the heads up on this one! And thanks to Jim, Ginny, Mark and Rick for joining Debbie and I for a fun time!

Too many to list.Getting the delux tour from Will around La Jolla. Got back to Will's house and jacked up my car to adjust the clutch. Car ran Great! Cruzing home down PCH with the sun setting over the ocean. Nice warm breeze about 75 degrees. Walk in the door and my puppy is soo glad to see me. What a day! Life is good....
