Lake Arrowhead Run

This is turning into a Drive-Your-Other-Car to Arrowhead cruise. LOL!

So, I'm going to throw this out there...

Does anybody want to postpone this cruise to the next weekend or so to work out their respective car/schedule issues (carbs, electrical, tires, etc.) so that we can all drive our Speedys/Ghia. That's the fun of the cruise - and sounds like we might get more SOCers to go. I'm game!

It would be fun to have Gabe, Gerd, Mr Ghia, Gelcoat Wonder, Tuff Tub, Stephan-new-paint, et all in good running order so that we could properly tear up that mountain road to Arrowhead...Speedster style!!

I guess I could drive my wife's car so that I don't sweat my ass off in that 90+humidity weather...

...I'm just saying...

I didn't want to be the one to cancel cause I started it.....
but now that it has been mentioned, I would prefer to wait till I can bring MR GHIA.....take a vote...I'm free any saturday in August..

I think we had better schedule something else, but maybe still get together Saturday? How many Speedsters are still in the running?

I'm free any weekend except August 4/5.

This is too bad. I'm going to be up there (Cleghorn Trail) with a few of my friends, off-roading. I would have loved to get some pictures of the speesters next to all of our lifted trucks.

I've all ways said that majority rules... I have no problems making the shift to another date.. I am getting my tires today (Locally too!) Not bad for two tires $99.00 mounted and balanced. I've always said make a stand....

HERE it is... Sat's run is CANCELED or I should say postponed..

If you wanna still hook up cool but as far as the run goes.. where moving to another date!

Having Carb problems myself and my Mom's 70th B-Day party is 28th of this month also.

Great idea - maybe Desi would be up to having Tech-Nite III on a weekend to do this?
