Hey Curt and Robby: Thanks - I will definitely get 1 from VS. Sorry I won't be able to make the run - my car just got loaded on the truck in KY on Thursday evening, so I am toyless until next week. Will make the next run though.

Guess I'm the first checking in after todays cruise to the Lake....
First I would like to thank all who showed up, Jim,Curt,Dan,Roger,
all with their significant others, also Joe L. and his partner in crime, Curtis, who bought their latest acquisition, a brand new Blue Lambo. It stole the show everywhere we stopped....(Actually took some of the pressure off us speedster guys) film at 11:00
Weather was perfect, traffic, not so bad. I think everyone had a good time, that is what these cars are all about..........
Im sure pic's will be posted before to long from those who brought camera's.
I will start a dialog for an August cruise to wine country behind Solvang, on the other side of Santa Barbara. July is the Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego, so keep looking in the events section for more info.....

Wow, great pics guys, I am so jealous, I so wanted to come! Oh well, glad to hear that a fun time was had by all. My hubby is pretty ticked that he didn't get to see the Lambo in person, was it really with our group of cars, or just cruising by? Hoping to make Hotel Del, we will see.....

Arrowhead cruisers,
Thanks to all, Jo Ann and I had a great time, again. It was great to see everyone again and meet Dan, Joe and Curtis. That Lambo's sound is still ringing in my ears. We won't be able to make the Del Coronado date, hope we can make Solvang.

...Hey Jennifer, Gabe, Speedster "D", PolynesianPop, MangoMan, Rotnrob and anyone else who wasn't able to make this run - WHAT A FANTASTIC DAY OF CRUISING MOUNTAIN ROADS UNDER CLEAR SKYS AND 75 DEGREES WITH A SLIGHT BREEZE!! We had a great run up the back roads into Lake Arrowhead (and enjoying a great lunch overlooking the lake). Of course we had to keep the pace down a little so that that Joe Lampariello's Lamborghini could keep up with us (LOL). What an awesome car!
Hey Joe/Curtis - next time bring the Ferrari! I'm guessing Curtis was jonesin to open up that bad boy coming down the mountain. That exhaust note at speed gives me goosebumps!
Roger/Jenny - I thought you would have a good time taking HWY 18 on your way home - a little more twisty turns at speed (I had just installed stabilizer bars - what a difference they make!)- hope you didn't lose your do-rag!
Dan/Tammi - could it have been a nicer day away from the kids?!!
Vince/Terry - always a pleasure to terrorize any neighborhood (or Outlet Center) with you two!
Curt/JoAnn - Maybe we can scare up a few of the beach folks to meet for Sunday Brunch at Spaghettini's jazz/restaurant (Seal Beach/405fwy - halfway point between Redondo-Irvine).
My video clips of the trip didn't turn out very well - but I'll post what I have later this evening.
Looking forward to the next cruise - Peace, Out!

Dude, if you miss the SOC Solvang Wine Run in August (or in yours and my case, the SOC Solvang Tequila Run, and in Vince's case, the SOC Solvang Jaegermeister Run), your penance will be playing "Stairway to Heaven" a hundred times (on a Sears Silvertone guitar and guitar case with built-in amp!!).
P.S. - my wife and I went to House of Blues in Downtown Disney (Anaheim) to catch our friend's band "Savage City" (swing band) as the warm-up act for Lee Rocker! It was fun, and Lee Rocker killed!
Also on the bill was Bo Diddley. That guy must be 100 years old. His set was OK - if you like 15 minute versions of "Who Do You Love" and his other old stuff. The dude was strugglin', and the back-up band kept looking at each other wondering "when will this end"?
When will I see your picture on the cover of "Guitar Player"?

Rotnroby, my brutha!
Stabilizer bars are a relatively cheap and easy upgrade to keep your Speedy headed in the right direction when you throw it into a tight turn. I got tired of getting sideways and looking like more of a maroon than I already do whenever I came into a turn too fast (my apex was usually the curb on the other side of the street)! Cuz that's the way, uh huh, uh huh, I LIKE IT, uh huh, uh huh!
Search the threads on this site for more info.

Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Guapo! Looks like you guys & gals had a great time. Had to work, just too many smiles to make. Everyone wants to look good for the summer, I guess. Joe's Lambo looks awesome. That pick of the group, with the lake in the background, makes me want to kick myself for missing out. Hope to catch you guys on the next run.
