I’ve mentioned in other posts that in this part of the country, the car community is largely American muscle cars (old to new), American classics, and trucks. That being said I recently found some Porsche enthusiasts locally and we attended the annual Pirate Festival car show yesterday. My new Porsche buddies love the Speedster and there’s no replica snobbery at all. The Speedster got tons of great comments and I met a good number of people who had unique and foreign cars which was very different from most of the meets I’ve attended locally.
The Speedster also got quite a bit of attention from the Judges. there were two award categories, top 10 and top 25. I got in the top 10.
