More kudos to Larry.  He bailed me out again today (master cylinder went south).  Larry makes it possible for guys like me with 10 thumbs and no tools to have one (or two) of these little cars, and make it affordable to keep them on the road.  Great knowledge, great rates, and a great guy.  Thanks again Larry.

Yeah, it took me a while to understand that (and still longer to believe it!). I drove his Spyder a couple of times - very binary car.  Power was totally on or totally off.  I also helped him push it through a double sliding glass door to get it into his walk-out cellar 15 years ago so he could rebuild it that winter.  He now has a Spyder mounted up on the wall of his rec-room to serve as a frame for his HDTV/video game, race car game console (complete with Recarro seat and controls).

He drove Pearl once and couldn't believe how docile she was....until he tromped on it!  "WOW!  This is how my Spyder should-a been!" was his comment.  He has gone on to own a Lotus Elise, a Spec-Miata, a GT3, an un-pronounceable Ferarri, and I think he sometimes runs a BMW 325 in the LeMons series in New England with a mutual friend.  Trust me, he's still having a lot of fun.  I just rode my bicycle through his neighborhood a week ago, and that's halfway to Boston for me!!

Bruce is the guy who convinced Chris and me to go to the Rolex and the rest is history.  He now has many, many irons in many fires but he and Linda seem to keep it all together - now with three pre-teen and teen kids!!  I'll pass along your Hi! When I see him in a couple of weeks.
