Enjoying a long overdue week off. Wife is in Wisconsin, kid is in drivers ed, lots of beer in the fridge -what's NOT to love?

Anyway, finishing up the engine bay and I was sitting on the garage floor looking at the CMC wiring diagram. Most things were ok but the starter has me a little puzzled. I have the lug on the starter for the battery cable and two clips. There is an orange and yellow (decent gauge) wire. I'm assuming that the orange is looped like that so I can put the put both (orange) ends into a large female connector -right? The wiring diagram leaves you hanging a little.

BTW, per all your advice I did the engine bay in Dynamat then went over it with 16 gauge aluminum. Re-drilled the Bug Pack breather box to take 8AN fittings. Since you all were talking about the firewall-to-tin gap I bought the bus seal and used aluminum channels that came from an old Vespoli racing shell (I repair these on the side so I've got this junk everywhere) to hold the rubber -fit perfectly. I'm still reading old posts about screening the mouse hole so I don't suck up junk into the engine. Interested if you think I missed anything. Best!
