The "1157R" JamStrait brand in the bottom of the photo ($16.99 for 2 ea at OReilly Auto Parts) fit the metal light socket and the lens sat all the way down with room to spare. The "625LE Load equalizers" pictured to the sides, I was told were required, but the lights worked without so I am returning those ($9.99 ea) The Pilot brand pictured above ($12.99 for one) were too fat around the white housing to fit down in the socket so those will also be returned to Pepboys. So for about $9 ea you can do all 6 sockets on the car for under $60 Reds for the rears and white or yellow for the front blinkers. Very low draw, zero heat, last 100,000 hours, Good to Go! "www.jamstrait.com". Those internet site like autolumination had restocking fees and would only credit for other merchandise so I found these locally with the promise I could return if there were any problems as long as I didnt mangle the packaging or scratch the parts.

Sorry for not clarifying. These bulbs are for beehives only, where they aim straight out, not tear drops, or vertically oriented lights. I realize now that this setup really does not apply to all because of differences in socket/ lense assemblies, plus when I ordered this car in Dec 2011, Kirk at VS said that something like 85 % of what he sells is the teardrop. Personally I wanted more of the 56 look, not the 57... The socket I have is pictured at the top of the page, upper center. That socket was provided on my car for both front and rear, all 6 beehives.
Troy,I am pretty sure one or the other would work. You can probably get the load equalizers at the same place for the $9 per light (not sure what the flasher unit cost,... do a cost analsys), but in any event save the reciept and be nice to the packaging and they will probably take it back if need be. Ask in advance. Mine happened to work without, so I am pretty sure I have the electronic flasher unit.I'll try to remember to call Kirk at VS Monday and confirm what he installed in mine. If the 90's are more useful for you, email or call the company Monday and find out where/how you can aquire them, and return the ones you bought. Its easier and cheaper to deal w a brick and mortar store regarding returns, and Autozone may very well be able to special order them for you as well since thay already stock the straight ones.
Troy,if no one responds to your last thread, here is a good auto electric place up in the Sacramento area that has been around since 1945. They might be able to pin point that problem for you for just the cost of a phone call.... Automotive electrician I am not, but if I had to guess the cause I would say too much load. http://www.lehrauto.com
