That is cyberspace chatroom speak. Translated, it means "Rolling on the floor laughing my a@@ off!", as in I found his chagrin amusing - what did he expect, a Rolls-effing-Royce?

I'm 6'4" with 32" inseam and never had any problem fitting in real or replica Speedsters, top up or down. Even my 1961 Lancia Appia Zagato coupe which makes a Speedster look roomy wasn't a cramped fit, with one trip from New York City to Dallas, Texas, in under 24 hours.

Handling issues are easily addressed.

The guy sounds like a wuss and I thought it was funny - JMHO...

I got to lookin' where my big foot be floppin' on the left side near the clutch and it can't sit flat...I don't think that is humanly possible, your heel might could rest puttin your footin' perpendicular to the floorboards, yah?

I glued in some industrial ribbed rubber pieces (for my pleasure) along that little raised carpeted area. It keeps me from wearin' out the carpet and the little texture keeps my foot from slidin' too far forward.

I envy you tall guys squeezin' and fussin tryin' to get in and out of our cars...Truth be told, it's us heavyset guys what have all the huffin',puffin', heavin' and moanin' rights!

While I don't have to duck for doors I do like a solid place for my feet. Put a dead peddle in there. 1.5" angle alum. shaped, spaced, and braced same distance as the accelerator peddle, bolted to the square tubing leaning slightly to the left and covered with an accelerator peddle cover. 2 bolts secure it to the tapped sq.tubing. This may let your heal stretch out further.

If your car is/was understeering or plowing on downhill turns I would start with tire pressure. Mine was 32 psi when I first got it. Now the fronts are 18 psi. And of course sway bars and lowered.
