I have noticed some Speedsters have more leg room than others.
Is the leg room determined by the "pan" or tubular frame design, or is it determined by design of the interior of the fiberglass body. Are the "bulges" at the right and left necessary to accomodate the wheel wells?

Although I never had a problem in my VWs, the difference in the seating angle seems to change the "feeling" of leg room. (Not to mention, it takes awhile to figure out how to get your legs under the steering wheel.)

Should I go to the gym, for spot reducing to lower my "seat"
