In another post I asked if anyone tried the reproduction Leitz (or is it Lietz?) stainless steel "NO RUST!" (Limited Lifetime Guraantee) ones listed by guy on The SAMBA?

Anyone have one? I'd like to see picture of one on a car if ya have one mounted. They appear to be much larger than the VS ones that are shaped to engine deck lid. They have mounting for single grill and also double grill.

I contacted him and he'd discount to $279 each + shipping for 3 to a single address (plus various credit card and paypal surcharges). So I need 2 other Speedster Owners near me in Northern VA (Metro DC)to share the discount. Anyone interested? You'd pay me by MO/check and pick up at my place when they arrive. He didn't quote shipping but I'm thinking extra $16 each would cover ($295 total) - I'd reimburse any excess. Be a nice "self" Christmas present!

Don't want to re-ship --- especially to Nigeria!

Tom - I can get it up to Langhorne PA or New Hope - not sure when but can do in month or 2. Easton isn't too far from there is it? I suspect I can reship but that pretty much kills any savings. Ha, I collect SEITZ beer bottles from the old Easton Seitz Brewery (ah, empty ones that is!)

Wolfgang, if you still need one more person, you can count me in.
Blech. For the record, it's for the '64 B coupe. Being caught dead with one of those on the otherwise no-frills ghetto sled would be like being found demised with soiled white underwear in a 70s Adidas track suit.

So how do I mount it to my Speedster's decklid? lol

Here's one mounted that I found with a search - looks like mounting holes for the twin grill were used and it is mounted a little low though.
