With all this talk about the tribulations of driving our Speedies in the rain (Paso Robles, Carlisle, etc) my son and I developed an idea we got from Rick Jiloty while in Paso Robles - The Poncho Tonneau!

A full tonneau cover with clear domes! Keep your interior dry as a bone (and also retain the heat from our puny heaters) while maintaining unobstructed visibility when driving in the rain.

Rain, I laugh at the rain (while passing motorists laugh at US!).

I had an MGB for a time, the tonneau cover had two pockets in it where the headrests would be. I cut an elongated eye slot in the driver's bump, removed the headrest and tried driving it around that way.

"driving while blind" sure describes the experience, but I was laughing myself to tears, so that might have hindered me somewhat.
