Hello SOC ,

Been lurking on this site for a couple of weeks after realizing my
hidden obsession with .speedsters . I recently sold my boxster s , and am suffering from post Porsche depression. I will likely hop into a speedster sometime ( before the kids get into the picture ) and am really enjoying the humor and chop busting on this forum.

Any San Diego members that meet up? Id love to meet up and see touch feel these great cars

Hey Patrick,

I remember when the 4S ranch was sagebrush and a dirt road. But then I remember when steel speedsters sold new for less than $4,000 too. I guess still being able to remember my way home is good for something?

I have a vague plan to make the "Cruisin Grand" scene this Friday night in Escondido, I just read where they extended the season through October. If you see a yellow speedster, that'd be me!

Another ocassional SD meet was the monthly "Cars and Coffee" show at SDAM Sunday morning, but that show venue has been changed / cancelled and may never surface again. I still get Emails, but they are all " next month . . " Welcome and enjoy the ride.
Patrick, my hair (if I can find any) is NOT related to maturity. I don't plan on maturing any time soon (my body does seem to have it's own agenda though). That's why I hang out here.

Will, if everything is still working come Friday morn (me and the car) I'll be cruising outta here no later than 1 or 2 p.m. to avoid the crappy traffic situation. I'll check this site before I leave, or call me on cell at (858) 220-5660 to make a hook up.
Dave's here man! It's 5 pm. Wife's repaired PT GT is home in garage. Needed new steering rack at 23,000 miles - 6 months outside of warranty. The first, and probably last, Chrysler product I'll own.

Thanks to all for the heads up on Cruisin Grand. So Escondido is on for NEXT Friday? Last show of year I think. 30th anniversary it said. Halloween in a speedster? What costume - I always look like this!
