Let's cruise to Warner Springs!!!

You all really enjoyed this last trip....so Grant was thinking that why don't we cruise to Warner's and stay the nite??? We can go to Julian, Cuyamaca, Laguna mountain and back to Palomar Mountain Observatory, then we can spend the nite at Warner's and soak our bodies in the sulfur pool, which is absolutely to die for. So what do you think???

Here's a WILD thought - It would be ultra-cool if Warren could shoot some aerial photos of the group going through the Warner Springs area, and then we can meet up with him at at the Palomar or Borrego Springs airport (obviously we would have to share the expense of this aerial feat). Just a thought!

Or we could stop at the Warner Springs air-strip for a ride in a glider!

Jim, that's a great idea. I'll run up to that area and pick a suitable stretch of highway where I can get low without alerting the Feds. I'll get back to you on this. I've got a guy looking at the airplane on Monday, but until I get a check, I'm in.

Made a run out to Santa Ynez to S7 past Lake Hensaw then up to Palomar Observatory. About average for the neighborhood.

who owns the "high-rider" black speedster (second one in)? It looks like it is riding on a carerra 4 chassis. sweet! as many speed humps as my neighbourhood has, that would be ideal!
