LEXAN Alternative?

Someone posted a while back about another product that has certain advantages over lexan (I recall better scratch resistance being one mentioned). I think the poster said he works at a place that works on submarines (?) and this other product is used at his place of business? I recall he gave detailed cutting instructions also.

Anyone?

It's called Marguard. The specific product from GE is called MR-10. It is lexan with a silicone based coating that prevents scratches.
