I have a somewhat interesting story to relate concerning my very new VS. Within the first couple weeks of owning the car, I was driving along a small street here in miami when I stopped at a stop sign to make a right hand turn. As I made my turn, a car began to back out of a parking space into the lane that I just turned into. I applied my brakes to let this car back out and just as I did that, the car behind that was also turning onto this street hit me fairly hard in the rear. I learned later that he was also turning onto this street and was looking the other way to see if he could make the turn with me.

Well, as luck would have it, he hit my car directly on the chrome license plate light on the back of the car. This piece took all the force and dented but there was no other body damage! I could not believe how lucky I was. The guy paid for the piece which Kirk sent right away. Three bolts later my car was as good as new.

It's too bad that a couple of weeks later I forgot to latch my hood fully and it flew up when I was driving. This cracked the windshield and caused the hood to get a minor chip. At least the replacement windshield arrived from Kirk in one piece.

I've had quite a first few months with this car but that's what makes a car like this fun! It's still running like a champ with almost 3000 miles on it already.
