Lietz Luggage Rack

Does anyone know where to find some mounting hardware for these racks? Don't suggest Paras, he is outrageous on a set ($50) for 4 bolts? There has to be someplace else that sells replacements without being held-up.

NLA sells the mounting kit. There is more than just four bolts needed to mount a Leitz rack. The stand-offs screw into the rack from behind, and the bolts go thru the stand-offs into the mounting holes on the car.

I guess you could buy the right size tubing and then cut the metric threads on the tube so it fits into the rack. And then buy the stop nuts to position the rack at the correct height...

NLA's price in 2005 was 29.95. It may have gone up some, but not as high as E-bay stuff. The parts number is NLA 801 001 00 That includes the spacers (Stand-offs), bolts, and nuts. (800) 438-8119
