I bought a Tokico Y2512 as a direct-fit replacement, based on a suggestion I saw elsewhere on the forum.

It is a lot springier than the dead one it replaced. My only complaint is that it pre-loads the lid on the left side and that throws off the panel lines a little. I need to adjust around on it to see if I can correct. I have an older Intermeccanica, so the lid design may have been improved at some point. The lid isn't as rigid as it could be.
