Well you asked for it.  I'm kind of a newbie to this place. It's been around for about 55 years or so and I just attended the last two years at the urging of Danny and Lenny. It's a great venue where there are no grandstands or seating unless you bring it. It's in a little valley in the Berkshires and you watch the races from the hills around the track. One ticket gets you into the pits and up close to the cars and drivers and the whole nine yards. All the cars are historic and last year Stirling Moss took a few laps in one of his old cars. Very cool.

I think the most popular races are on the Saturday of Labor Day Weekend which is August 31st this year. There are other events and shows through the weekend but no racing on Sunday. You can get corral tickets and get a parade lap and/or reserved parking

The last two years we stayed with my brother in Western Mass. near exit 3 off I 90 Mass. Pike and drove about 75 miles on back roads to the track. There were several SOC knuckleheads there and we had a nice day. You can camp there at the track (not my idea of a good time) or whatever works. It almost goes without saying , that the whole thing could suck if there's crappy NE weather.

That's it. Now you know what I know. Google it and kick it around. I'm goin' . Hope to see many of my brothers there.

Kathy and I are going, too, and I've asked Rick Milczanowski (who lives about 15 minutes from the track) to let me know of motel recommendations so maybe we can all stay in the same place.  I'll post as soon as I know anything.

I know that there's a bunch of folks who go out every year from the Boston TYP356 club so I'll keep an eye on that and maybe can coordinate between the two.

Al, you nailed it. I have been going for at least 5 years to the Vintage festival, which is always Labor Day weekend. My 911 buddies (Jim, John, and Mike) always go with me. Lenny goes too, sometimes with his son, sometimes not. Dan O'Connel comes from South CT. Plus the Gallos, Peter, and Carl.

Amazing cars to be seen, heard, and smelled. Bring earplugs, the cars are driven in anger!

Other events are good there also, such as club races and ALMS. I usually end up there 3 times a year. The food isn't that expensive, and the Harpoon beer tent will quench you.
