I was wondering what the typical horn sounds like from fellow members
mine in video below (attached)
Is this typical or what is the preferred horn sound?

GREAT SOUND !!!!! It doesn't sound like a little car horn holding it's nose !! How come you didn't get the Four Speed Version ??.......Bruce
I installed the horn pack from a late 60's caddy. At first it was just the four individuals, A C D & F. I've since located a 24" Cadillac trumpet to round out the complete set. It was this set up or a complete 'train horn' compressor set up. =)
Go to 3:35 for the sounds. I have these in my Speedster:
Sounds interesting... I often find that there are times when no matter what you do it seems no horn is good enough unless it is an AIR HORN.. I just ordered this horn which allows you to keep your existing horn to politely toot, and if you keep pressing you get the FOG HORN ... just kidding but the air horn comes on at around 128 db. Have a look at the link ... kind of an intelligent set up.. ... Ray
Lol I want one!!
The circuit even flashes your headlights ... it does get some attention. My brother loves it on his Jetta, he was tired of getting cut off by those asleep at the wheel. Those are the ones he seems with the head slumped forward, eyes off the road, texting.

Ray. Let me know how it works, in terms of assembly, etc.
Yes, we all could use something such as that.
FYI, I installed mine and it took a while as I wanted to make it look like an IM install. Bob, you know what standard that is. Also the SB, gives you a relay that has a 30AMP fuse in it that does all the nice stuff.
Essentially, you need room for it... you have two oil coolers do you have room up where the horns are? I checked the picts of your build you could put it in the front of your rads. You could have it oriented so the water will not get into it.
I installed mine in the wheel well, above the rad, just behind the front light. I had to make a bracket to attach it.
Any mechanic can do it for sure in a few hours on a hoist.
If you want one, you might order it and have it shipped to Carlisle ... free ship to the USA and multiple discounts if you buy qty. Maybe someone else might go along and get two or more. I might even get another one for our daily driver.

I hear ya. That's what has taken three weeks of occasional hours to make my heater install looked like Henry's elves did it. It ain't easy, believe me.
Cole: I have one of those remotes for my Pioneer media head. Never thought of attaching it to the steering spoke. Pissa idea....... My Alpina 3-note air horns sound similar to yours, just louder.
The remote works from the steering wheel and is attached with Velco.
" It ain't easy, believe me." Your not kidding Gordon, it took me quite a while to run all the wiring within heat shrink rather than use electrical tape. I also had to create a bracket system as I have very little space in my set up to install the horn and to do it as well as the IMelves.
Oh, I should have mentioned that the claim to fame is the use of the existing horns for simply politely honking and if you LEAN on it the sound and blinking light show is awesome.
No, When I'm out in Pearl and some nutcase starts getting even remotely dangerous, there ain't no "polite" - I just wanna blast them!
Proper cabling is an art reserved for very patient people (of which I'm only borderline). For those who have only seen computer "Machine Rooms" from the front, on TV, (You know - those spinning tape drives and blinking lights) there is a wholly different world behind those big cabinets and under the floor. THOUSANDS of cables are back there and they need to be properly dressed off, else the future service tech can't do his job and quickly fix a malfunction. This is how the back of a proper server rack looks:
Under floor cabling should be just as neat:
These are not dressed by machines, but by real people who take hours and days (sometimes, weeks) to cable up racks of electronic stuff:
When done right, it is a work of art and makes future servicing a snap. When it's done wrong, well:
