The company in NC WAS using bodies from Avanti (Chuck's tooling) but changed the rear to a solid axle, over the modified C4 stuff Chuck used.
The molds went up for auction when Avanti relocated to Mexico, but I can't say if they sold or not. Maybe this company bought them, or maybe they are being made in Mexico and shipped to NC. I doubt the latter, since the owner of Avanti (Mike Kelley) is now in Federal prison for $400M in wire fraud...
BSC contracted us to re-tool this project for them a few years ago. We (Chuck physically) widened the body/track to accomodate stock C4 suspension components. Also made interior changes for more leg room, and raised the windshield. Mods were made for a top, although I have yet to see one with a top on it.
Last I heard, BSC was trying to produce through a shop in CA called Swift Engineering, but I can be certain...
Ridden in 2 different Listers. The best ride was in Chuck's white/blue lightweight car. 388ci, 550hp. Car and driver invited Chuck to their "Supercar Shootout" in 2001 (or 2002) and he came in 3rd overall. And we're talking Hennessey, Venom, Calloway, etc, etc...

Other ride was in another one of Chuck's "shop car" specials. Not like 550hp is "reasonable" in 2200 lbs, but try a SUPER lightweight body, with a 2:1 ratio!!!! I've seen clips of this car on a race school's website. Will look for that too.
Here it is, DAM school: http://www.damdrivingschool.com/pages/Lister/Lister.html
