The VIN would be on a plate in the driver's side door jam, and on a VIN tag in the dash by the driver's side defroster vent.

 

If it's not very obvious, perhaps somebody removed them in the 22 years since it was built, for one reason or another. People do some really weird stuff to get these cars titled in the US.

 

I'd try contacting Intermeccanica in Canada to see if they can help.

I've found the vin under the windshield and door jam. 

But I need a vin nr on the chassis itself to get it registerd.

The company wich is doing the registration for me has had another intermeccanica before and on that one it was located in the left front wheelspace.

Because it's recently sprayed with undercoat protection paint, we don't know the location .....no chassis vin nr ....no license plates :-(
