Can I retrofit my VS to install lock cylinders? I've seen the assemblies offered in Tweeks for $99.99 a piece with keys. Has any of you done it or is it a PITA? Thanks for the feedback.

Not sure if they are a match but why bother?
From previous posts, no one knows of a replica speedster being stolen to date.
I would instead go with additional hidden ignition and or fuel flow lock outs ...Still won't stop a thief, but will surely slow one down to the point where they might pass on the car....just my .02 cents and will probably get change back :~)

Thanks Alan; you know how it is; maybe not stealing the car per se but images of Ferry Bueller's Day Off come to my mind as certain people might try to hop in and take it out for a joyride. I know anyone can just snap off the top and get in but so can they in a Miata. It's kind of neat and classy to have locking cylinders like in original 356's.

I think Beck puts them on thier cars. I doubt the handles are any different than on a VS. Why don't you contact them?
