Long Beach business trip - beer?

I'm down to Long Beach at a conference first week of October.

Would any of you Cali guys want to grab a beer and talk cars? I've never been that far south in Cali before and am only there for a few days.

Any update? Joe Jost's is a classic spot in Long Beach for a beer.

Jim and i have been exchanging emails. he has my hotel details (across the road from the long beach conference center).

we're shooting for Wednesday dinner / beer. the more the merrier :)

Sure wish I had more trips out west, so could hook up w/ the brethren there more often. It has been WAY too long since. MUSB: sure enjoyed that BBQ in SandyEggo a while back, and would wish for more of same some day. As it stands, if you can get to Seattle in November, we can hook up; I'll be there for about three weeks. Believing that to be a bit of a stretch for you, my next best guess is the classic car thing in Monterey in Aug. I REALLY want to do that one. Looooong time between chances here.

Welllll, the unclean minions of the SoCal SOC had a chance to meet up with Mangosmoothie when he took a break from his business conference. Had a good time drinking beer and telling lies over an excellent BBQ dinner in Belmont Shores.

Try as we may, we couldn't sway Mangosmoothie to drink enough so that we could change his moniker to Tequilasmoothie!!!
