Thanks for the effort. ISP is out stock too. ISP gets them from Stoddard who is also out of stock but they seemed to think that they would be getting a new batch in 2 months.
Bruce,
Stoddards was getting a new batch 2 months ago last year when I was looking for one! I'm going up to a Porsche swap meet this weekend if you like I'll see what I can find.

Bruce,
What sort of steering wheel is it going onto? Stock 356A, vintage wooden rim? after market re-pro?
One of the lil' smarty pants on the site fashioned a horn button/steering wheel center using a hubcap crest which looked sensational ! ! ! !
I just tried it a couple of weeks ago and it IS a wonderful idea and an alternative that looks absolutely "factory fitted,'
I can post a pic of mine if you like, just wondering which wheel you're working with.
Luck!

TC I'm building my speedie, it's still in several locations around the shop. I have a Flat 4 repro banjo and want a crest horn button. If you have or can get photos of the button and its underlying connections, I would very much appreciate the help.

I have a Porsche crest from a hubcap if you are interested. You can have it for free. Not new, but,in very good condition. It looks much better in real life than it does the pictures. Also, notice that the P lettering is not there.
E-mail me your address if interested.

Hi Dale,
The number is no secret, but there's something strange about it. The duplicate of the Manufacturer's State of Origin I received from Intermeccanica says IM 14333. When I visited Vancouver January 2006 Paula said that is actually a Roadster number. When she checked the archives she came up with 13333. What is the matter here/what went wrong?

I think I have one in pretty nice shape but w/o the mounting pegs on the back which you are welcome to if you need it. Let me double check and send me your address.

Oscar,
I've never had a Nardi wheel but I've had a Grant (still do) and a Flat 4 Banjo. With both wheel hubs I was able to epoxy a crest to them. With the banjo I got a golden lady horn button, painted it glossy black and used a crest from a Porsche key chain. For my Grant wheel I originally had a plain black horn button and epoxyed a hub cap crest to it. Now I use the same Grant wheel with a stainless steel horn button with the crest from the key chain in the center. All of them looked pretty good, I especially like the current wheel. Here's a pic (it looks pretty scratched up because it was taken at night with a flash)

Looks very nice Mickey. I thought you need some kind of billet adapter to be able to put the crest on the horn? I know JPS sell them for about $100 bucks utilizing the hubcap crest..
TC, If bruce takes the hubcap crest from Lambros, I have a spare crest in decent shape with all the back pegs that you can have for free.

Thanks Lambros, just sent an email. Either way, thanks.
Where did you guys get the billet ring adaptors? I asked JPS but they won't sell it seperately
Gerry,
I got mine from JEGS.

Mickey,
I didnt see one that would work on a Nardi?

Sorry Gerry, I thought you were going the Grant route. Don't know about the Nardi adapter but I'd check with John, Carey, Kirk, Henry, etc... at any of their places, they can probably put you on the right track.
Anyone on the site know where to get a billet ring adapter using a hub cap medallion like on the JPS site? I have the medallion, but the OD of the stock ring is too small to accomodate the medallion.
