Bruce,

What sort of steering wheel is it going onto? Stock 356A, vintage wooden rim? after market re-pro?

One of the lil' smarty pants on the site fashioned a horn button/steering wheel center using a hubcap crest which looked sensational ! ! ! !

I just tried it a couple of weeks ago and it IS a wonderful idea and an alternative that looks absolutely "factory fitted,'

I can post a pic of mine if you like, just wondering which wheel you're working with.

Luck!

TC
Hi Dale,
The number is no secret, but there's something strange about it. The duplicate of the Manufacturer's State of Origin I received from Intermeccanica says IM 14333. When I visited Vancouver January 2006 Paula said that is actually a Roadster number. When she checked the archives she came up with 13333. What is the matter here/what went wrong?
Oscar,
I've never had a Nardi wheel but I've had a Grant (still do) and a Flat 4 Banjo. With both wheel hubs I was able to epoxy a crest to them. With the banjo I got a golden lady horn button, painted it glossy black and used a crest from a Porsche key chain. For my Grant wheel I originally had a plain black horn button and epoxyed a hub cap crest to it. Now I use the same Grant wheel with a stainless steel horn button with the crest from the key chain in the center. All of them looked pretty good, I especially like the current wheel. Here's a pic (it looks pretty scratched up because it was taken at night with a flash)

Looks very nice Mickey. I thought you need some kind of billet adapter to be able to put the crest on the horn? I know JPS sell them for about $100 bucks utilizing the hubcap crest..

TC, If bruce takes the hubcap crest from Lambros, I have a spare crest in decent shape with all the back pegs that you can have for free.

Oscar
