Anyone know where I can pick up a roll bar that is actually going to be bolted to the frame for safety? I'm not looking for something just for show.

Also, I really don't like the period correct bars that are extremely tall and square. To me they just ruin the beauty of the car. I was looking for something more low profile.

Thanks!

Use the photo of Candy in DRCLOCK or Syl's profile as a guide and have one made. Alan used a Mazda Miata show bar which looked like it was made for the car. A steel guy with tube bender and TIG welder could duplicate the look but to make it effective in a crash/roll over you'd need some chassis specifics from Cary to ensure you bolt/weld it to a robust place on the chassis.

If you head is not at least three inches below the bottom side of the roll bar while you are in you seat, you will not have any protection. Also simple lap seat belt will not help with a roll bar. With a proper roll bar install in a open roof car you need at minimum a properly secured 4 point harness.
If you are really worried about a roll over in a Speedster you need to understand your driving capabilities and the track performance of the car .
A Speedster replica is still safer than riding a two wheeler.
