I am looking for an Intermeccanica Roasdster as close to an original as possible. Probably 2000 or newer. Thanks for any responses in advance.

Saw this one. Beautiful, but really not into the yellow and it seems like it would be a pain to repaint as the piping on the seats wouldn't match a new color. I would love to be able to get a custom one built from Henry.
Here's great deal on an '87 Convertible with tube frame in Boston for $15k. NOT MINE.

You might be onto something, Wolfgang. Now....if you know, would a tube frame IM about this vintage imply four wheel disc brakes and electric roll up windows ? This looks like a Roadster, no ?
it was deleted by the author. Sold? Looked great and the price was super as well.

How about a nice Speedster? I know of one that will be for sale very soon.
Strange SAMBA Ad still up - selling on CL can be a pain with low ballers and no shows.
Definitly sold, spoke with the owner who said he had take a deposit.
Thanks for the follow-up. Not so much on the Speedster. I'm 6'3", so it can be hard to see out of a Speedster. Like the higher windshield and windows on an IM Roadster.
Daryl, Stan Galat has a IM Speedster and he put his seat basically on the floor. He is tall and has a looong torso. Here he is heading out for the West on Sunday. That said, I am barley 5'9" and had to have Henry raise my seat in my Roadster 1.5 inches. So a Roadster just may do the trick for you.
Sat in a few Roadsters and fit like a glove. And IM's are the best.

This car is advertised as a "period correct" car. I can never understand why someone would pay extra to get the car as "period correct" as possible and then paint the car in such a period incorrect color. Obviously this corvette color has some sentimental value. But if you are going with a color like that you should plan on being buried with the car or expect to come down significantly in price. My 2 cents. I personally think that the non-metallic period correct colors are the most beautiful on these cars.
