His name is Jim Wolcott, he the smartest and coolest guy that I've ever met. Tell him that TC sent you to him, mention what you're looking for and ask that he keep an eye out for you if he hasn't got something right there on hand. (He is TOTALLY connected.) He's also a dealer of most every manufacturer's products and has a complete parts stash on hand from new horn buttons down to used Centerlines and everything in between, plus he' a machinist of the very first order.

A terrific guy to know. And MAN does he ever have some GREAT toys ! ! !
Thank you all for the great responses, all great suggestions.

Bob Elliott has the Bug parts I need and he's only about an hour a away so I think I'm all set.

Since this thread has been getting some great traction I will ask an off topic question.

When I get the spring plates and arms I plan on having them sand blasted. Should I powder coat or use Por 15 ?

Thoughts.
Peter, my rule of thumb has been that if I can remove the part from the chassis, it got painted instead of powdered.
I made exception for the cover plates on the torsion tube, but anything that actually moved got paint.
If the paint degrades, it can be removed, touched up and replaced that day -- I have a tendency to put off hard-to-reach touch-ups if I can't do them while I'm thinking about it.
My spring blades and caps got painted.
Are you going to be at Litchfield or Terryville, or know anyone who is (maybe Bob?) you can get in touch with Chuck (he runs both shows) and have him bring the MasterSeries order along with him, or just order it on-line. It comes UPS and shipping is really cheap.

If you're planning on ordering ANYTHING new for your your build, check in with Jim first. He's an authorized dealer for most brands and has a LOT of in-house stock on hand. Great prices, FABULOUS service, new and used everything!

Bob is always over at Jim's (or has been nearly every time that I've been there . . . ) maybe you can ask him to grab the parts while he's there next and you can grab them from hin when you shoot up for the rear suspension.

Luck!
