I'm in the market for a complete IRS out of a bug for my build. I would like something that's got all the parts that I can just tear down and refurb. If anyone knows of one in the New England area please let me know.

You may wish to consider a 944 turbo or NA rear arms c/w brakes
The turbo is either 25 or 50mm wider per side depending if pre or post 86, internally braced aluminium arms, and 4 pot Brembos.
NA cars are steel arms and sliding calipers.
Get the 944 rear sway bar while you are at it.
5 x 130mm bolt pattern

I got that 944 Turbo rear arms, brakes and bar if somebody want's to pay me for it. I'll never use it.
Thank you all for the great responses, all great suggestions.
Bob Elliott has the Bug parts I need and he's only about an hour a away so I think I'm all set.
Since this thread has been getting some great traction I will ask an off topic question.
When I get the spring plates and arms I plan on having them sand blasted. Should I powder coat or use Por 15 ?
Thoughts.

POR 15 will work alright. Remember that with powdercoating the part's tolerances change because of the thickness of the powdercoating; sometimes dramatically and it may affect the fit of your parts.

Peter, my rule of thumb has been that if I can remove the part from the chassis, it got painted instead of powdered.
I made exception for the cover plates on the torsion tube, but anything that actually moved got paint.
If the paint degrades, it can be removed, touched up and replaced that day -- I have a tendency to put off hard-to-reach touch-ups if I can't do them while I'm thinking about it.
My spring blades and caps got painted.

"Bob Elliott has the Bug parts I need . . . "
That's 'cause he got them from Jim!
Use MasterSeries, superior to POR15 in every way possible.

Ok T.C MasterSeries(Chassis Black?) it is. Can you point me to a local source or is this an online purchase only?
Also while I have it all a part to sandblast it only makes sense to get some new OEM bearings etc any recommendations on a quality source for these?

Are you going to be at Litchfield or Terryville, or know anyone who is (maybe Bob?) you can get in touch with Chuck (he runs both shows) and have him bring the MasterSeries order along with him, or just order it on-line. It comes UPS and shipping is really cheap.
If you're planning on ordering ANYTHING new for your your build, check in with Jim first. He's an authorized dealer for most brands and has a LOT of in-house stock on hand. Great prices, FABULOUS service, new and used everything!
Bob is always over at Jim's (or has been nearly every time that I've been there . . . ) maybe you can ask him to grab the parts while he's there next and you can grab them from hin when you shoot up for the rear suspension.
Luck!

Thanks T.C. I'm not going to make any of the shows so I will place the order as suggested. I will also give Jim a call next week to see about all the bearings etc to bring them back up to snuff.
