Looking for Chicago area speedster owner

A couple of things to get you started:

1) If you haven't read the post above yours about everything you should know, start there

2) Our annual club event is in Carlisle, PA the weekend of 5/17.  Several of the manufacturers will be there as well as a whole bunch of owners.  The best way to learn a lot in a short amount of time.

3) If you can't make that, we're having a smaller gathering near Peoria the weekend of June 7th.  You would meet a lot of the folks from your region there.

4) The closest manufacturer to you is Special Edition in Bremen, IN.  I'm biased, but highly recommend them & worth a visit www.beckspeedsder.com

There are other members in the Chicago area as well. Joe Soltis knows plenty and can be very helpful, he just likes to keep himself real busy with work and family as does Joe Fortino. Me, I'm in Wisconsin.

I sure wish I was retired like Rich. Yes my life is busy and has gotten busier having to take care of my parents. If ya send me emails ,I will respond. Just haven't had too much time visit the site lately. I did talk to Loren.

Live in Antioch, IL and have a Beck Speedster.  Looked at quite a few brands of speedsters offered.  Some are not done very well!!  Went to Bremen, IN to view the Beck.  Very nice to deal with.  Offered me my choice of cars to drive and after test driving, looking over how they build and the quality of the finished product went home with a Red Speedster.  Very pleased.  This is a great ride for Sunday, but I've been driving it almost every day.  Staying away from inclement weather just because I don't want to spend the time cleaning it up.  Your welcome to visit and look the car over.

If you can, you should really come to Carlisle next month.  This is the perfect place to see just about every permutation of the 356 replica and to talk to owners and maybe go for a drive in your favorite.  Just a thought.
