Hi there,
I am actively looking to buy a SPEEDSTER Intermeccanica. Used, in perfect shape, well priced, any color.
Cheers.

Welcome Charles. IM, perfect shape, well priced. Sounds like an oxymoron. Just kidding. Be a little more specific. Modern space frame, pre-86 pan car, air-cooled, water-cooled, price????
I'm looking for a Intermeccanica, or Beck Speedster, or similar build. Tube chassis, no VW belly pan, no WIDE Body, flexible on the engine as long as it's in good shape. Not looking to race, just a fun ride. I already have a 991 and 996 C4S, and just sold my 912 SC to replace it with a Speedster that looks just like the original. I'm in Canada, so it gets a little more complicated, either a 15 year or older build, or a car already in Canada. I will go anywhere in the US to pick it up.
IM stopped making pan cars in 1986. So I guess you are looking for an 87-99 US or any year Canadian car. You might want to call Henry at IM. He often has a line on Canadian cars. If you are patient I'm sure you can find a nice Canadian IM.
The white one you saw is a pan car that sold quickly. It was a steal.
I'm in contact with Henry at IM. He's looking for one for me.
I'm not restricted to IM, also looking for equivalent, like Beck or else.
Tahnk you
I've got an Intermec Convertible D Silver on Silver, 2180cc - 911 fan shroud with about 6000 miles, leather, heated seats, power windows in California with smog exempt special construction registration. My goal is to list it here later this week.

Hi Theron,
What is your price? And do you have pictures of your car?
I've seen Theron's car. It's amazing. I'd venture to say 'better' than new.
You can't go wrong with that one.
Ted
I would love to see pictures of Theron's car, as well as price and more specs! Cheers guys! This is a great site!
I'll post the listing as soon as everything is ready. Hopefully later this week.

Sent or at least tried to start a dialogue but not sure as I have never done that before. I have a 2007 IM speedster with less than 10K miles - black with brown interior, 2110, AC, heated seats, etc, in great shape. Check dialogue. If you are interested will send pics.
Please send pics: charlesoliviermichaud@gmail.com and specs (price, miles, repairs, problems if any, general condition?)

Don't forget that kit or replica cars must be at least 15 years old ( date of actual manufacture ) to be imported from anywhere into Canada.
Yeah, I know, I wrote that in my search criterias above: I'm looking for a Intermeccanica, or Beck Speedster, or similar build. Tube chassis, no VW belly pan, no WIDE Body, flexible on the engine as long as it's in good shape. Not looking to race, just a fun ride. I already have a 991 and 996 C4S, and just sold my 912 SC to replace it with a Speedster that looks just like the original. You are from Ottawa and drive one? What do you have? And where did you get it? Any leads on available speedsters?
I have an older IM, Charles. Built around 1983, pan based and it had a bone stock 1600 cc VW engine. Bought late in 2010 for $6500 in Boise, Idaho and we drove it home. Been messing with it ever since and now have a Soob EJ22 engine . Still less than $12K into it and it could be best described as a driver with plenty of patina and plenty of room for cosmetic improvements. Not an ideal plan for many on this list.
I know of a Speedster up in Gatineau which might be for sale, no idea who made it but knowing the owner, it's likely an older pan based car needing upgrades. Kijiji can produce some good results sometimes.
Your car sounds great! I had a 912SC up until a year ago and it was like that. Great drive, but cosmetically doubtful! ahha.
Would love to hear about the one in Gatineau. Let me know if you can find any detail, phone number or else, I'm actively looking right now.
