Looking for Lane Anderson or any of the Charleston guys

Hey Lane,
You told me to give you a holler when I could get to Charleston.
My wife and I will be staying at the Church Street Inn until Sunday night and would love to meet some of the Charleston speedster guys and see their rides. I thought this would be the easiest way to reach some of you. If any of you guys/girls are driving your speedy's downtown this weekend, please give me a call.

It figures. Pam and I will be in Asheville all weekend. Rats!!

Ya gotta have a nice meal at Magnolia's while you're here. Also, check out Blossom (right next door) and Cypress (next to Blossom). All three are owned by the same folks, and they're all good. Also check out Fleet Landing, The Wreck of the Richard and Charlene, etc., etc., etc.

And this is Spoletoe Festival, so downtown will be crowded, but there are a lot of artsy things (jazz, opera, etc.) to go to. Have fun!

You can come to my garage and look at my car. It is up on blocks/jack stands right now. But I could still meet up at some point.

lane makes good suggestions, but if you want REALLY GOOD EATS, go to Fig. It is on Meeting St. http://www.eatatfig.com/home/default.aspx Hands down, one of our faves. Now if you like Thai. Basil is the best Thai food that I have ever had and it is on Upper King. They don't take reservations, but it is a great place and they have an outdoor patio bar to wait for a table. There is always a line!

Charleston is going to have excellent weather all weekend, so you picked a good weekend. Just watch out for falling WWII fighter planes. One fell out the sky this week and chrashed in to the harbour. The pilots were both in their 70's and I thnink that they both survived the crash. (Damn, I hijacked my own post)

Sorry Kevin, but neither survived.

We're building up quite a list of Speedsters in the Carolinas. We really need a gathering.

Is SNOB(slightly north of broad) still open? My wife and I got married in Charleston and ate there.. great meal.. I actually have eaten there a few times and its where I first tried sqwab (sp?) or pigeon to those red necks like me. Actually really good. Chaleston is one of our favourite places for weekend getaways...we are thinking of buying a small condo there.

Thanks for the info.
My wife and I came back last night so I didn't get to check e-mails until today. Hopefully, I will get a chance to take another weekend to Charleston soon so maybe we can get together then. I actually came home to work on my car. I am getting closer. unfortunately, I didn't get it finished for the Carlisle show like I had planned.
