Looking for one to work on

I finished my restoration of my 1971 914 and my 1977 MGB and I am ready for a speedster. I have been studying on it and I am not looking for a disaster or a perfect one. I don't mind cosmetics. Something in between would be nice. Something that I can bring to San Diego and work on. It would be great if it were titled pre-1994 since then no Smog in CA.

Thanks for the tremendous help guys. I have some restoration work to do but I bought one from Michigan. It has a more "classic" look which is what I was after. I will post pix when I get it and as I fix it. It is suffering from some midwest rust but with availability of replacement parts, I should be able to bring it back to California level.
